Goom Attains ISO 14001 Accreditation

Following a recent audit, we are thrilled to announce that we have successfully obtained ISO 14001 accreditation.

What is ISO14001 Accreditation?

ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS), emphasizing a systematic approach to reducing environmental impact and improving environmental performance. This accreditation underscores our dedication to implementing effective environmental management practices throughout our operations.

To achieve this accreditation, Goom has developed and implemented an EMS based on the ISO 14001 standard requirements. This includes documenting procedures, defining roles and responsibilities, establishing processes and implementing controls and procedures to manage our environmental aspects and ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations. Regular internal audits were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of our EMS and identify opportunities for improvement. Finally, we underwent an external certification audit to gain ISO 14001 accreditation.

At Goom, sustainability is a core value that informs our business decisions and operations. Achieving ISO 14001 accreditation is a testament to our ongoing efforts to minimise our environmental footprint and operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This marks a significant achievement in our commitment to ensuring that the environmental impact of our operations is monitored, managed and minimised.

While obtaining ISO 14001 accreditation is a significant achievement, we understand that our journey towards sustainability is ongoing. We remain dedicated to continuous improvement and will continue to seek opportunities to enhance our environmental performance and contribute to a more sustainable future.
