Goom Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join our Operations team. This is a key leadership role, overseeing the successful delivery of electrical installation projects while managing both site engineers and office-based staff.
We’re looking for someone who can bring technical expertise, strong leadership, and a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing electrical installation contracts and ensuring smooth project delivery
Leading and supporting both site-based engineers and office operational teams
Overseeing budgets, schedules, and client expectations
Ensuring compliance with BS7671, the Electricity at Work Regulations, and all health & safety legislation
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Contributing to business growth through tenders and new opportunities
What We’re Looking For
A qualified electrician with proven experience managing electrical projects
Strong leadership and management skills across both technical and office environments
Excellent knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and Schedule of Rates
IT literacy, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills
The Role at a Glance
📍 Location: Office-based in St Albans with site travel
Hours: Full-time, permanent (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
