We’re Hiring: Contracts Manager – Electrical

Goom Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join our Operations team. This is a key leadership role, overseeing the successful delivery of electrical installation projects while managing both site engineers and office-based staff.

We’re looking for someone who can bring technical expertise, strong leadership, and a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing electrical installation contracts and ensuring smooth project delivery

  • Leading and supporting both site-based engineers and office operational teams

  • Overseeing budgets, schedules, and client expectations

  • Ensuring compliance with BS7671, the Electricity at Work Regulations, and all health & safety legislation

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Contributing to business growth through tenders and new opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified electrician with proven experience managing electrical projects

  • Strong leadership and management skills across both technical and office environments

  • Excellent knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and Schedule of Rates

  • IT literacy, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills


The Role at a Glance

📍 Location: Office-based in St Albans with site travel

Hours: Full-time, permanent (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
